Cherry is a leadership and management development trainer, facilitator and coach. She works with individuals, groups and teams to develop capability and confidence in building high performing teams and rewarding working environments. Cherry has worked as a consultant for a wide range of international organisations and sectors in the last 6 years.

Previously she was European HR & Learning & Development Manager for a global IT business, responsible for 14 countries, where she was nominated Exemplary Leader for Europe, and led a pan-European cultural transformation programme which increased profit by 5%. Before this, Cherry was International Manager at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She began her career in HR with the British Red Cross. Cherry wrote a book – ‘Managing for the First Time’ - in 2000, which sold over 10,000 copies, and was on the Editorial Advisory Board for People Management journal from 2002-2008.

Cherry has an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University and speaks fluent French and Italian, and some German and Spanish. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management from the University of Westminster, the CIPD Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring, and is certified in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) I and II. She has worked in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Romania, Scandinavia, the USA, India and Hong Kong.
